VeedubVR 0
Today when I pressed the brake pedal there seems to be no feel but the car still stopped. but there didnt seem to be a bite like there usually was. The pedal seemed to just go straight down and only had slight feel near the bottom. However when I lift of the pedla and press again the brakes felt normal.Something is definately not rightAny ideas? Thanks
Ben Seabrook 4
sounds like air in the system mate
legvw 0
Check your not leaking fluid from any of your calipers as that could be why air is entering the system.Could also point to the internal seals in the master cylinder.
FishWick 21
Could also be a leaking servo. The ABS pedal position sensor seal is an old favourite!
VeedubVR 0
all these sound like expensive repairs
Ben Seabrook 4
well not to start with mate as Paul says check your calipers for leaks and then bleed the system inc abs pump and see if that helps
void_main 0
Also, don't forget that brake fluid should be changed every couple of years as it degrades over time. Wouldnt account for a sudden change though.
