vdubgirl 3
Yes the seat certainly did put its power down as obliterate everything else which was there I can see why the 2.0 conversion id the one to go for in the mkII it seems a very tunable and capable engine most of the guys have hardly any probs with theres :-).Shame none of our supercharged vr's were about yesterday to show them was really power and beautiful sound was about ;-)
Deako 0
Should be in order of torque, different question then. More impressive than the pub talk bhp figures!

GVK 1
Thanks again to Claire for organising a great day down at Stealth, - nice to have vibratechnics there showing an interest in engine movement ( or not!) and for putting the food on.My 2lt 16v has done a far few miles on Stealths rollers, someone mentioned it should drive itself on there yesterday 184bhp from my old bus yesterday. As Claire said, the mk2s are really good track cars but very compromised for road use, no climate control and nice leather seats in our cars.. Have to agree with you about the sound, Claire.

anorak 0
I know, mate. I'm just being a nob - sorry. Some of the turbocharged Saabs and Volvos make massive torque at really low rpm though.Think the T5 S60 makes 258 at 1500rpm!!I need to spin mine to over 4000 to get that.(Volvo doesn't do over 300bhp though )
