up to date ive changed every part on my vr6's suspension even put new coil springs and shock mounts and today i put new drop links on the arb, but it now it has a clonking sound like something is lose, is this a bad caliper or inner cv joint. I dnt want to guess again it is costing me alot. This only happen when driving straight and the sound come and go away, it sound like ball bearings rolling over each other, it cant be the outer cv's when i turn the outers are quite. The wheel also give a soft humming sound when the car is at a nice stable speed. The car is really driving nice like a car should after i replaced all suspension and braking parts.I need some help guy's, sometimes it get so bad it seems as if the wheel is going to fall out.

Don't know if this will help but I undone my hub nut and was amazed to find my cv joint snapped! I too had a noise and when it seemed you turned corners it eased maybe due to more pressure being on it or not, when suspension is lifted. End of the day, this could of killed me and my family, if I hadn't of investigated. Worth a look. I bought new Brake discs/pads front and back to find the source. In the end it was a relatively cheap part. Hope this helps.
