exhaust fitting

Recommended Posts

I've bought a second hand st/st cat back and fancy fitting it myself. I've never attempted fitting an exhaust before so does anyone have any tips or heads ups for anything I need to be careful of? Also the exhaust didn't come with any gaskets, seals, or brackets etc. Will I need new ones and if so where is the best place to get these?

Any help appreciated!

Cheers

fitting an exhaust can be a pig of a job if your doing it yourself on your drive way. if you have access to a ramp - use it! using a ramp will make the job SO much easier.

obviously you'll need gaskets, new mounts might be wise, and plenty of sealant paste for the joints!

also if your current system is old be perpared to have to grind the old bolts off
