In other words will it fit my OBD 2 car?

cant see the throttle body which determines which one it is

Ben it wont have a throttle body as it is coming 'bare' will that make a difference?

I have am waiting for a reply, I originally asked this 'Hi is this an OBD1 or OBD2 manifold?' reply was this 'manifolds are the same its the throttle bodys that make them obd1 or 2..just put your throttle body on to this manifold...thanks.....true or am i getting dry bum f*cked?

Cheers Craggsy I have won this one on Ebay but if what he says isnt true then I wont go through with the deal. I am looking for one to polish over the winter.....along with a rocker cover if I can find one.

If the pics were better it would be easier to tell as there are differences other than bolt holes for TB

Hugh, i got both types, and one off the car somewhere.. I only thought it was the throttle body that changed on the 2.8?, the rado and syncro manifolds are better ported so breathe better but thats 2.9 specific to obd1 the schrick and vw motorsport where the best that where available for different obd's

i thought the bolt holes to fix the tb onto the mni were in slightly different places

so will see if obd1 tb fits obd 2 mani

obd1 throttle body will not fit obd2 manifold obd1 is alot bigger not just a case of drilling new holes it just wont fit

Its an OBD1 he has just replied, why the hell he didnt tell me that when I originally asked is beyond me. I have asked to mutually agree to withdraw from the sale. Part of me thinks he didn't tell me because he thought I wouldnt do my homework....which I did albeit too late.
