Thottle bodie & inlet for obd2

I have just read that a 2.9 corrado throttle body won't fit on a obd2 golf vr6 (i'm 99% sure the vr6 im having is obd2), is it still worth fitting a 2.9 inlet manifold to a obd2

I can pick up a 2.9 inlet for around £40 and I know it's not a massive job to fit but was just wondering if it's worth it?

the short intake is for turbo cars mate not n/a ones - and unless your running f/i I wouldnt think a 2.9 manifold will make much difference - I had a ported and polished 2.9 on my obd1 car but was running a charger

if your using the wiring harness for obd2 you wont be able to fit obd1 body and obd2 throttle body wont fit with out modifying the manifold(holes in wrong places)
