rsweeney 40
i have started to polish the manifold using 120 sandpaper as i didnt have 40. I did about half an hour then thee next day i went and got some 40 and carried on. In some places it looks as it should at this stage but in some places there are lots of smaller dark dimples. Is this just where i need to sand more or am i doing something wrong ? just a bit cautious as i dont want to mess it up
richievr 1
sounds like you need to keep sanding buddy. i started with 80 on mine, then went all the way through to 1200 before using autosol to get it nice and shiny.. the more little black specks you can get rid of the better, depends on just how good you want it to be when finished.. rsweeney 40
i am planning to do it in bits so my aim is to get it near enough spot on. Did you use an electric sander on yours ?
