After running my 3 box exhaust system for about a month i have now decided that i want to remove the center box and the suitcase box.i went to a local powerflow dealer who has qouted me 195+vat to fit a straight pipe to delete the center box and a few bends to delete the suitcase box and use my back box,question is does this sound about the right price for this kind of job???

I was quoted £325 for a cat back system, full stainless guaranteed for the time you own the car, but I figure extra 50 notes will get me a quality Miltec cat back system

mine is a jetex at the moment but i thought as it was just pipe i was after then it wouldnt be so much.

Well £350 for full system. I'm guessing that what your after is just pipework with no silencers attached? In which case £195 seems a bit steep for a bit of pipe with a few bends. But sure someone with more experience wil be along soon!!!!!!!!!!...........

With places who make exhaust's it's about who you know know sometimes.

i had a manifold back system made with 2 boxes and a separate decat pipe so i could put cat back in if i want.

because i work at a garage up the road, they did trade price and cost me 140 quid. i sold my old scorpion system for 120 which was even better.

think this proves how much retail these companies add on!

if its a jetex system just get on to them and ask if they can sell you a replacement centre pipe as they sell both the 2 and 3 box systems, just the 2 box has a replacement pipe for the centre box

good deal that was then russ and thats a good idea sharky i will have to find out if they sell the delete pipe.
