will my motor go BOOM!!??

any advice tips?

i bought it at a steal so i can either sell it again or fit it.

The shot is set at 80kw wet shot.

Hi matey,

How many miles has ur engine donw, and is it running nicely without any smoke? - any engine with underlying issues will deteriorate a lot faster with Nos!

If its good then you should be fine as long as ur sensible!

Look at getting smaller injectors to start with, and then build up!

From experiance, test BOTH solenoids before making live with gas!

have u got a progressive controller? if so you can set the output pulse down down so the solenoids do not operate on full power initially. A worth while investment!

I have run nos on all my vr's and never had any internal engine mods.

i have a slight piston slap :-(

no smoke tho'...

smaller injectors? what size more or less?

no progresive controller, i have a switch that goes on the pedal, once you flat foot, you have to press extra hard down to activate it, or so they guy said to me.

how do i go about testing the solenoids....??

i dont want to cause any harm, im interested more for the purge, how and where can i set it up to purge?

May be worth searching ebay or similar for compatible solenoid injectors, (they are small nossles that thread into your solenoids.) Fuel and Nos should be in pairs and sizes are relevant!)

I would start with <50 and build up.

Now i'm running Direct port on the VRT

rig up the switch to either your peddle, or throttle body, so that the switch is ONLY operated on wide open throttle.. An absolute must!

Then, before connecting the gas with your ignition on, test the switch and make sure both solenoids pulse.

If you have a purge kit, there will be a third solenoid on the Nos line, this should be installed as close to the nitrous solenoid as possible, the point of purging, is to purge the stale nos and allow fresh cold nos to reach the solenoid.

this could be operated from a switch in the dash.

I would NOT advise switching the actual NOS operation from the steering wheel, always use the Wide open throttle method to eliminate disaster!
