car is nearly stalling at junctions

Recommended Posts

when my car is cold it runs beautifully. but when its warmed up at junctions when i put the clutch in it goes to stall. every now and then it does stall. iv cleaned the throttle body and replaced all the vacuum pipes and still no good. also sumtimes when i floor it, it farts and withholds power. i have a mk 2 gti fuel pump still on my car. which is being changed mon. could this be the reason. any help much appreciated.

Possible the lambda?

My corrado VR6 has this exact same problem and I'm running a new MAF, Plugs, Blue Temp sensor and a perfect ISV (Yes I changed the lot!)

Only thing left in the loop is the lambda probe which I've yet to change.

If it helps, when you come to a junction in the meantime the only way of stopping the corrado from stalling is to dip the clutch as late as possible eg; when the revs have dipped below 1000rpm with the clutch still engaged.
