Silly body question

hey people, was just wondering after reading through a few posts, if my golf vr6 is kinda rare, well not rare but not sure how to word it lol.

Im asking this because i read a few posts where people have been saying that obd1 cars have the black trim above the arches and around the doors and obd2 cars seem to be the only ones mentioned that have colour coded arches etc. Mine is obd1 and colour coded and isnt a highline so was just curious if this is complete norm or a bit....special lol

post a pic up but if the plastic arch covers are body coloured theyve been painted

i know i do need to sort pics ive had it since may and not took any lol. its not plastic arches mate its proper colour coded like highline models cos thats what i was lookin for when i was buying, just that when i was buying i didnt understand the obd1 obd2 thing i just thought they were all the same lol.

none of them are rare mine is obd2 and dosnt have plastic arches the rubbing strips on the doors and the tops of the bumpers are body coloured early ones had black plastic arches and black tops to the bumpers and black rubbing strips all unpainted
