vr6_super 0 Posted October 12, 2010 Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 Just about to buy new fronts for the beast and wondering what is the normal load rating to go for?Currently the fronts have 80 but the tyres I am looking to get (Kumho KU31 Ecstas) come in 84. Guy I spoke to said if you go higher then youre fine but just wondering if there is a standard for VR6's? Link to post Share on other sites

finny 0 Posted October 12, 2010 Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 Believe factory 15" alloys tyres are 86V.Looking to upgrade to 16" alloys and I am pricing up min 86 load index so looking at 87 load index (for 205/45/16). Lots of tyres rated at 83 but not so many reasonably priced for 87 load index.I would not have anything less 86. Link to post Share on other sites
