probert993 0 Posted September 20, 2010 Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 found nail in each front tyre, not touched it pulled it etc no pressure being lost how worried should i be dont wanna lose tyre etc cos loads of tread left but dont want it to be dangerous? spindat45 0 Posted September 20, 2010 Report Share Posted September 20, 2010 As long as they are about an inch from the outer edge of the tyre then they should be repairable. A decent tyre shop should be able to do the repair. I had two front tyres fitted and a puncture repaired on a rear tyre the other day and they charged me £25 cash. That was at a place I've been going to for years so I think I got a bit of discount. A puncture repair shouldn't cost much more than £15 with the valve and balancing per wheel.Kevin Link to post Share on other sites

As you can appreciate these are the things that keep you in contact with the road. So always worth doing ASAP.
