michael5556 247
Yesterday I attempted to fit in my sound system, when I came to start it up I found that it wouldn't because of the Clifford alarm. I took off lots of trim to see the worst wiring of an alarm and sound system that I have ever seen, the wires were just wrapped around each other, the odd one bad been crimped but everything was covered in electrical tape! It was every wire that was just plastered in it. I found the box for the alarm and found it was a Clifford concept 300 g4 alarm. I had to take out the entire dash board and it took me 9 hours to sort it out and re wire the whole ignition system, I eventually got it to start at 9 pm last night as it had just gone dark and now I have to put the whole thing back together today. I don't understand why people mess around and ruin things that they don't know what they are doing! I need a new alarm now. Can anyone suggest a new one for me?
The Monk 50
Cant suggest an Alarm matey.Still, good work. Re-wiring your ignition system, sound system and dashboard wiring is no easy task. Consider this a pat on the back.Atleast you know now that it is wired properly.
