Hello VR6 nuts.

How are you all? Hope you are enjoying your VR6 Motoring.

I have a few questions which I am hoping you can help with. I have had my VR for nearly a year now and it originally came with a set of 17" TT competition alloys which I sold upon purchase because the car sit a good 20 mill lower at the back than the front.

So when I had family in the car the wheels would rub agains the arches.

Firstly - how do you roll the arches? Can this be done by a monkey like me or is this best left to the professionals?

Secondly the car seems to have newish suspension on there, so why is it sitting lower at the back than the front? I have taken it to my mechanic who says its not ajustable and maybe I need a new set of shocks on the back of the car? If the shocks are indeed gone, then why does the car sit lower?

I am now looking to turn the car into a minor project, (re spray, possible suspension wheels etc) and am interested in purchasing a set of Porsche alloys for the car. Which ones best fit the mk3 VR6 and does the VR6 have a ET35 off set.

The reason why I ask this is that I ran a set of spacers on my previous mk2 golf and the car ran like a bag of nails.

Any help appreciated. Cheers guys
