floor pans for a 3door golf

any one know where to get some floor pans for my golf?

its having the sills and both floor pans rebuilt

i have looked allover and can get every panel bar the floorpans

or is it a case of cutting them out of a scrap car (i)

been to the dealers they want £167 + vat

go figure that out thats for 1 floor pan

Best part of £200 sounds expensive at first but pattern parts always need extra work and a vw one will be the correct thickness and quality steel.

I had a quick search and found this panel dealer, never used them before but UK based so might be worth a look. You have to register to go through their parts list.

Hadrian panels are supposed to be quite good

cant see a floorpan listed though

looking at them for getting my sill repaired anf the floor patched up

thanks again is there a diy guide to repairing sills anywhere i have had a look and cant find anything for a mk3

i suppose the principal is the same

also do i have to cut out the old sill and weld the replacement in, or is the old sill covered by the new one after its been treated and sealed :-d

i used hadrian panels for my sills and arches, they were very accurate and of good quality, i didnt have to reshape anything. The floorpan i could not find and beat out my own from sheet metal, its really very easy
