Taxi Ninja 0
Ok 2 things:Clutch peddle off, piece welded, new plastic bushes, grease etc.... how the FFFFFFF do you slide the peddle back onto the rod. It wont fing budge and you cant get any leverage !!!!!!!! AAAARGH !!!!!I can get it a maybe 2cm on !!!!!!!Second Freak out:The spring. One side is a plastic indent, where the clutch peddle arm fits nice and snugg. The other side is metal with a T groove which slides onto the metal piece which is bolted onto the car. Now either im smoking something or im mad! the plastic piece can only go 1 way, same as the puzzle metal piece can only go one way; the problem is, somehow it is the opp way round. If i fit the puzzle metal side on the plastic piece is not the right way to fit snuggly onto the clutch peddle!!!!!!please for my sanity help a VDubber !!!!!
dman78 1
i had the same problem, got help from my cousin who works for AA,with the pedal out we lined up the spring, then put the pedal into place at an angle, using a big screwdriver as a crowbar to compress the spring until the holes lined up enough to get the bolt through,it took four hands to do this hence AA wont attempt it at the roadside.
