luke832 0 Posted June 4, 2010 Report Share Posted June 4, 2010 Hi just purchased a new sony cd player for my car, it comes with 2 rca out put at the back of the head unit, but i have 5 amplifier wires and when i pulled my old one out i dont really know where they go? can someone help? ive been told i need RCA splitters for them but if anyone can advise me on how to link them up i would appreciate it. CALICO 130 Posted June 4, 2010 Report Share Posted June 4, 2010 it looks as if you have 1 front output1 rear output 1 subwoofer output 3 red 3 white normally run the front output to the amplifier running the frront speakers the rear to the output running the rears and the subwoofer to the amp running the subwoofers you do not say how many speakers you are running but normally front amp will run the tweeters in the dash and the speakers in the front doors another amp or another output running the rears doors(tweeters and midrange and another amp or output running the subwoofers Link to post Share on other sites
