vr6stormt 0
since its a nice day today i am going to have a go at fitting my big brake set up and was wondering if there is anything i need to know is it just a case of bolt up and bleed,, i bought 5ltr`s of racing brake fluid and was wondering what is the best way to flush the system and (inc clutch) appreciate any feedbackps on the rear the disc looks like the front but a bit smaller not like the oe vw combined disc an hub, does the disc just bolt between the wheel and hub there is bracketry with the rear callipers that looks like it re-positions the calliper`s up and out???? CALICO 130
i think you need to bleed the abs unit via vagcom since i changed my calipers my abs light seems to have fits ill be bleeding mine via vagcom next week(or trying to )
b road blaster 0
as long as you don't run the abs unit dry it should'nt need bleeding just bleed them as normal but if you do get air in the abs just shout and i can bring the vcds down
bungy 2
Clamp the hoses before removing the calipers and then top up and bleed using an Easibleed kit. I've got one here in the garage if you want to borrow it.
