Okay i have gon to the knowledge vault and have used the link for the "drill your airbox" to the website vw vortex but i cant view the link page.Any ideas on how to to get to the page or how to guide to drill the airbox?Cheers. VR6Nat 9 Posted May 19, 2010 Report Share Posted May 19, 2010 its really easy mate, just take the airbox out... (unclip the airbox pipe at the back, take top half of airbox out first, then the bottom) Then drill the underside and front of the bottom section, just be sure not to drill higher than half way or the engine side. Oh and yeah its a good idea, but i would recommend a lifetime panel filter. I run bmc and its great, no changing it and it works better than std... Link to post Share on other sites

But k&n or any of the other cotton filters are good. The standard ones are paper and need replacing yearly, so it is a false economy really. Link to post Share on other sites
