Bigjobbo 0
Brake fluid level, pads ok?
VR6Nat 9
as said, handbrake switch is under the handbrake, clean that with contact cleaner. If it doesn't work it prob will be abs related, so wang it on vag com. The brake pad warning light is a seperate yellow light i believe.
legvw 0
Red light, brake fluid low/hand brake on light, yellow is for pad wear.
Antihero1981 8
red light dude , might have to pull wheels off them , maybe it could be water....Guess what i will be doing this sat!brake pads are ok , discs i might replace anyway while i am down there!
VR6Nat 9
it wont be related to your discs or pads... thats a different light.it will be one of 3 things.... handbrake switch, low brake fluid or an abs fault. not necessarily a sensor though, my light is on and thats down to my abs pump. thats why i would say if its not one of the first 2, which are easy to check then get it on VAG com as it is so much easier.
