binliner 0
I'm getting a droning/whirring type noise that gets louder the faster I go (it's not too noticeable under 70mph but gets a lot louder by 80mph) I'm presuming it's a wheel bearing but can't tell where it's coming from exactly...How do I check which wheel? Is it just a case of jacking up each corner and wiggling the wheel top to bottom? Is there anything else that could cause that sort of noise?cheers
wayne_1@tiscali.co.uk 27
it will either be wheel bearing or even a gearbox (hopefully not) just jack each corner and give it wiggle left to right up and down hope that helps or if u know an mot guy local he might charge u a tenner but he can quickly stick on his ramp and find which one is on the way out
