AJmk2 2
Does anyone know what torque I need to do the studs to and then the nuts? Also i read somewhere that people then let the engine get up to temperature then cool down and retorque them? Is that right?

AJmk2 2
Oooo thanks! As for the torque of ARP I found on another site ; hand tight with the allen for the studs then 3 equal steps to 80 ft/lbs with the moly lube as per the bentley torquing order, and heat cycle then re-torque. craggsy 91
Tony just tightened up and torqued them up on mine. Instructions are in the box, well they should be. They get tightened differently to standard head bolts I was told
FishWick 21
LOL, I've seen 60, 70, 75 and now 80lbft quoted for the same bolts and application. Good old internet!75lb I did mine up to. Retorqued again after 500 miles (cyl1 had come loose slightly) and since then it's been fine.
