DanH 1 Posted March 14, 2010 Report Share Posted March 14, 2010 oh dear! think ive found the rattling,....172,000 without em done. tensioner railcouple of chunks out the guide rail, and about half way its snapped in half too!this is how the car stands atm below.....kinda need it for work so im a bit stuck atm :S didnt think that far ahead lol. tomoz gonna get the guide rail, tensioner, tensioner rail, rocker gasket (splits everywhere!) and coil pack - so should be running sweet, sooner the better!2 questions tho.....i can change the upper rails from this point cant i? no more needs to come off? any info/help on removing them would be nice plus, the two 13mm bolts at the bottom of the cover, ones longer than the other - i managed to mix em up! does the longer one go to the front or back of the car?thank you!!! rob_skater 0 Posted March 15, 2010 Report Share Posted March 15, 2010 Yeah i have don this job recently and you need to take the box, clutch, flywheel and lower cover off and then the tentioner guide will just slip off its a hell of a job for such a simple little piece.
