MarkGolf 6
I've driven my companies demo few times now get alot of people coming in for test drives, and we can tell they wont buy it, so if you go to ask for a test drive, u may be given the blag that you have to wait a few months or something..Anyways, the car itself!Amazing!!!I put it in 4th at the lights and it pulled as if you were pulling away from the lights in 2nd!!the torque in the thing just pulls u along, and the cars handling!! It just made me think, why am I bothering with a mk3!Cos I could turbo my VR and it would never keep up with a mk5 which is totally standard round the twists! The driving position was perfect, the feel, everything was just sooo right!!Really will be a hard car to beat, and when tuning options become ten a penny, u are not going to out drag it!! A supercahrged VR i think will have trouble tbh!! i really do think that!Really amazing car!
tinny22 11
thanks for that mark just phoned the blackpool vwthey said give them 24 hours notice and they can sort a test drive out but the dsg box they havn' t got one in till the end of january. i ask could i take it on my own but i knew they would make a excuse about insurance.but they said the test drive will be about 6 to 8 miles and there will be about 4 miles on the motor way the only thing i hate sales men do thinki can use ear plugs.do you think it will better than r32 ?! ?! tinny22
MarkGolf 6
Its better than the R32!!
antera309 3
With no power-sapping 4wd, I'd expect a chipped Mk5 GTI to be more than a match for the R32.Not too sure about all those black plastic trim panels on the front bumper though. Some body-colour ducts and a proper mesh grille would have worked better there, I think. The interior is pure sex though![ Edited Thu Dec 23 2004, 02:31PM ]
