b road blaster 0 Posted February 21, 2010 Report Share Posted February 21, 2010 ok so i'm new to the 4motion so quick Qout for a play in the car and gave it some right boot round a few twisty bits and the abs and another light came on which i belive to be the traction control is off warning stoped the car and restarted and they went off then it done it again later i'm lead to belive that if the traction control is cutting in the light will flicker then go out but they just stayed on untill i "reset" the car buy resarting is this a prob i should be worried about (its still got warrenty so not to botherd if it is) Link to post Share on other sites

If, like in snow you loose some grip it does flash. Has your Haldex been serviced correctly and on time? Link to post Share on other sites

Nex 17 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Share Posted February 22, 2010 Yeah l have this same thing on my 4mo, but other then the abs and traction control not working when the lights are on (neither of which l like or find useful anyway) everything else seems to be fine, but if you could let us know what they say when you get yours sorted, l would be interested to know Link to post Share on other sites

S600B_DC 0 Posted February 27, 2010 Report Share Posted February 27, 2010 I had this recently, but the ESP light stayed on, after getting the fault checked it was the 4WD module had failed.Luckily was replaced on warranty as the part is around £600 on its own. Also had the haldex filter and oil change performed all in warranty Link to post Share on other sites
b road blaster 0 Posted February 27, 2010 Author Report Share Posted February 27, 2010 well i had a check today and it is saying that the haldex system is all ok but showing up faults on the longatude accelration sensor so cleared the codes and went out for a play ,they came back on so now done a recallabration on the sensor and will give that a try will let you know how that works out Link to post Share on other sites
