RAPgolfvr6182 2
just been out to check on my front disc n pads as there about due for a new set and noticed something very strange about them. Ive got pagid fast road pads and brembo maxi grooved discs 288mm. The pads have worn down but as they have been doing so they have overlaped the disc so the pads worn now across about 90% of the pad face but its started to lip which is running on the inside of the disc where the wheel bolts attach to the hub. Not sure if the pads have moved or they where the wrong pads given to me from gsf when i bought the pads n discs. Any one got any ideas?

craggsy 91
Strange, they are too low on disc
framan 0
Looks like its a wrong fit mate. Its unlikely that the caliper has moved cos it would have come off if the bolts were to shear.

RAPgolfvr6182 2
the pads should be nearly flush to both inside & outside edges not overlapping ?I know every other car I have had have allways been like this but these ones seem to be like this for some reason and im not sure why
vr6stormt 0
i dont know of any reason why the pads would overlap maybe get some more pads and see if its still like it if it is then check out the disks are the right ones?because the pads are overlapping the disks they are not going to give even pressure on the disc face and you will end up with uneven wear on pads and discs...
