quickshift

Hi guys,

Anyone got a diy for a quickshift mod on the vr6?

Searched for ages but could only find expensive kits! Was hoping there was an engineering mod that could be done cos the long throw is doing my nut in but £300 for a shift kit is a bit strong :eek:

I'm sure Member 'Bungy' is will do it for a small fee for premium members and an exchange unit.. Possibly worth a polite pm?

I had a look around, cant see a howto section and theres nowt in the faqs?

I did do a full description and it is in the Premium members area, Knowledge vault under Engines as there is no transmission area.

There are pictures aswell.

I can do them on a return basis, so if you want to keep your car on the road, source the two pieces at a breakers (they are very cheap) and send them to me. I'll modify and send back. 30 mins to swap over and reset your linkages.

sounds good mate, yeah only driver as the audi has a set of bent valves from sludging lol. Will try to get the bits, will take a look at that thread now, thanks

EDIT: ach, cant get premium till the 24th (payday) so cant look at it yet.
