terrorste 0
I have been to a few places around here in Nottingham who wont even look at it maybe the lack of knowlege on vr's or auto boxes or even the mix of both. how would a slightly mechanicaly minded person check the oil and what should i look out for? terrorste 0
Forgot to say the box is crazy sometimes. the kickdown doesn't work. when its cold and first drives it i have to rev it alot befor it moves and when i stop at first set of lights near my house and i pull off it goes to about 2.5k and thumps in to gear. cabrioman 6
sounds like a lack of oil mate see if u can get any fault codes out of it if there is any that is .... get the trans nice and warm like after a long drive if possible keep engine running and put Netural or Park, and pull the dip stick out and check the level, that is if tha vr6 auto box has a dip stick im guessin it would do but never worked on one .... if u got a owners manual should tell u in there ...
