scoot spanker 9
What are the tell tale signs for a MAF problem?Cheers people
Ben Seabrook 4
easiest way mate if the car is running badly is to unplug the MAF when it's running and if it doesn't get worse then the chances are that's your prob !!
scoot spanker 9
The problem only occurs when driving off load, low in the rev range. Can I disconnect the MAF then drive the car to see if the problem stays the same or gets worse? Or will that be terminal for my car?
Ben Seabrook 4
well when I disconnected the good MAF the car wouldn't run at all ! but when it was dodgy it made no difference - if it's a very specific area like that I would be surprised if it was the MAF mate - what are the symptoms of the problem ? scoot spanker 9
I've only driven the car on sunday so I can only go on that but if you are taking it easy when driving the power seems jerky, not smooth at all. It goes away when you boot it though
