acf8181 0 Posted December 28, 2004 Report Share Posted December 28, 2004 yeah, they're just better quality justin. the spark plug end of them looks to be very tough (needed in case a stupid mechanic doesn't use the proper tool - that was my reason for having to replace my relatively new black leads for red ones).i reckon the red ones are of most interest to those who have lots of work done on their cars, as they're happier to be pulled off lots.avoid aftermarket performance leads as they're fatter and the little lugs on the lead guides will cut into them.
