MarksMintness 0
Hi guys, this has happened to me a few times now. When the car has been stood for a while (particularly in the cold/wet) when I start her up the engine catches and fires but instead of settling to idle it just stalls. Sometimes it will do that 2 or 3 times before getting it's ass into gear. I have an OBD1 1994 vehicle. As a minor point as well, sometimes when it fires up there is a crunching/grinding noise that sounds like a belt or something slipping as it fires, then it goes away.Any ideas amigo's? VR6Nat 9
Have you checked your plugs and leads? Also might be worth cleaning your ISV (idle stabilisation valve) Check those then let us know how you get on...
