Jonnyboy82 0
I have some fk coilovers on my vr6 that i bought used and they were already set up i think their about 40mm. I want to go lower now so what is the best way to loosen the thread just lube and leave for 24hrs before i attempt it?I believe these fks are prob about about 2years old but i have no idea when they were last adjusted so im hoping their not seized.I have the c spanners so im guessing its pretty straightforward no? VR6Nat 9
Yeah totally straightforward.... bit of wd40 the night before to make it easier, then jack it up, wheel off then if it has 2 rings you need to crack open the lower one first as thats the one that locks it, then adjust the other one to where you want it and do the first one up again... simples. Jonnyboy82 0
So im adjusting the lower one which is just the lock then bring the top one up say 10mm then screw the bottom one back up to lock back in position?
