camshaft position sensor is the hall sender...you'll deffo know if thats screwed up as the car will a have significantly less bhp and will be really lumpy.

i think crankshaft sensor will be the engine speed sensor. you will giet this fault code if the car was tested without the engine on, as it self clears once the engine is running.

i'd phone them back to see if the car was tested with the engine on or off. also, were the faults intermittant or constant?

was tested with engine on and off showed these faults both times, car has obeen overfuelling and dropping power over time, judders a bit at low revs and has lost about 25bhp on rollers, also pointed to lambda but they said that was prob because fuelling was screwed up by other sensors, will nip down vw and see if they have hall sender

spoke to stealth, they gave me the part number so i could get it from local dealer, 32 quid plus vat. refreshing to find someone who offered to give me the part number without gaining any profit for themselves, will have to pay them a visit and get the car on the rollers to see if all is rectified.
