I made my own CAI during the summer using S/S 80mm tubing. Definately a big improvement as the filter sat right down inside the inner wing.

I should think that this would perform exceptionally well.

Was it easy to do minty? Where did you get the tubing? Does it make a real difference?

Yep, I used the following:

90 degree Bend, Straight, 3 pieces of silicon hose, Filter.

Ive got a bmc, but I really like the idea of this one, the only thing the bmc kit has going for it is the cold air feed.........take that away and it only as good as a cone filter if not worse.........I?d say that will be every bit as good if not better than the bmc....and will deff be louder too....the main reason I got one is it came up at the right price...I would probably go for somthing like that if they were the same price.....saying all that there's nothing wrong with the bmc at all and it does produce results on the rr's.............ether will be good imo
