Locohama 0 Posted September 1, 2009 Report Share Posted September 1, 2009 I've been doing a lot of reading about my supercharger install and I'm trying to find a larger MAF sensor that will take the additional flow rate comfortably. I was thinking along the lines of an AUDI RS4 one from a Bi-Turbo model?Any other suggestions?My car will be using an Eaton M62, intercooled with 300cc injectors.Thanks Mark Link to post Share on other sites

Locohama 0 Posted September 1, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 1, 2009 So does the Sensor section just unbolt and you can adapt a 4 inch tube to fit it to?I'll be running about 300-320bhp and I've read that the standard might take it, but don't want to risk it if I'm paying a lot for a mapping session. pops 1 Posted September 2, 2009 Report Share Posted September 2, 2009 its ok making your own, but if the maf isn`t in the correct position the car will be mapped wrong, i changed my home made one to a C2 maf housing completely changed the car , but it did have to be remapped again it was smoother and stonger, Link to post Share on other sites

Locohama 0 Posted September 3, 2009 Author Report Share Posted September 3, 2009 I've added one to make sure the air passing by the sensor is laminar and not turbulent so it can get an accurate reading. I made my MAF housing out of a drain pipe and a speaker grill Only need to make a joining section to take the original sensor and make sure it is positioned correctly.
