vr6binks 0 Posted July 29, 2009 Report Share Posted July 29, 2009 hey guys, i sometimes hear a knock noise on my vr6 when i plant my foot down and and when i break hard ! it feels/sounds like its comming from the back of the engine. i was thinking engine mount maybe?? but not sure !! if it is the engine mount where can i get a decent one from, as i tend to drive my car hard..............sometimes !!!! sparkyjr 0 Posted July 31, 2009 Report Share Posted July 31, 2009 Pull hard back and forth to see if engine moves or knock or get some one to stand in front of the car with the bonet up and pull forward and see if it moves or knocks. I did all my mounts 4 months ago put a vibratechnics comp on the front and standard rado vr mounts on the rear and gear box (they fit mk3). Advice from gwerks and stealth and they are experts.
