Caster Adjustable front bushes

A few days ago I put a thread on the Group Buy for the caster adjustable front wishbone bushes (now 8th down the list).

I'm really suprised nobody is interested

Adjusting the caster is supposed to make a good difference to the front handling.

Is it that no one can be arsed changing the bushes or is everyone already on PowerFlex ?!

I spoke to Chris to see if he could post me a picture. He told me that SuperFlex maufacture in Australia and they haven't got any in at the moment.

The bush will be very similar to the Powerflex one but with an over sized center hole. a metal insert is then fillted into the center hole (like a normal bush) but with it being larger it can have an off center drilled hole for the bolt. By rotating the bush it allows you to adjust the caster and alter the front wishbone geometery - improving the handling

Apparently they currently import them as a complete unit, on demand for the Golf as they don't get through that many.

The imported ones have Zinc plated mild steel. But if they were going to get a good few orders they would make the inserts out of Stainless Steel in the UK (save on import costs, weight).

They are currently doing the same for ones for a Mk 4. When they are done, should be next week, he will post it on the web for you to see. (mk4 is slightly different to the mk3 but close enough for you to get an idea).

any idea on price... my caster was slightly out when I had the camber done but obviously it couldnt be adjusted

List price for the front wishbone front bush is £12 (each)

List price for pair of caster adjustsable bushes for the front wishbone rear bush is £90.44

However, if I get 3 people (inc myself) I should be able to get 40%

or if get 6+ (inc myself) should get 45%

so for all 4 bushes for the front wishbone with 45% off would be £63

No that's not bad!
