Charging the vr

Recommended Posts

Hey

Been really considering making my vr6 a lot faster so been looking at supercharging.

Is it the best way to go and anyone have a rough idea how much it costs in total?

I take it fitting isnt too bad to do?

Any help would be much appreciated

Mark

A easy and I suppose "cheap" way to do it, is to get your hands into a Z-Engineering supercharger.

A ZR2 charger will only demand a chip. The rest of the car will be stock. I did it in 2006, and it was a remarcable diffrence. Car was fast and with no issues the 10 months I drove it. It was fast like a stock Audi RS2 fast:)

dont mean to be rude here fella and welcome in advance to the FI world..... there are how to guides in the premium sections with loads of information on what you do and dont need to do and how far you can go safely. turbo or charger which cams clutches and pipes etc etc etc

it'll cost you £15 but you'll save that on the parts and insurance in a blink...

there are few of us who have done this and are as happy as a pig....

have a read then pop back up :D
