djmorgz 0 Posted June 23, 2009 Report Share Posted June 23, 2009 hi all im in the process of elimation ive had a annoying oil leak which dribbles out of the bottom of bell housing which fkd the clutch its defo engine oil so took the box off replaced the crank seal new cluch put in .......put it all back 2gether and same oil leaking from same place and low an behold clutch slipping again ....now could it be the sump gasket leaking as ive noticed it weeping all around and if it was would this cause the clutch to slip its really pissing me off now ...cheers dj Link to post Share on other sites

djmorgz 0 Posted June 24, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 24, 2009 UPDATEok so stripped the gearbox of again 2day and found that when i had changed the first crank seal i had forgot to do 1 of the m10 bolts up tight that hold the flywheel on an the oil was dribbling through this hole and leaking onto the clutch so tightend it up an a 2nd new clutch in and all is good it drives like it should again so i can now enjoy driving again ........woop Link to post Share on other sites
