The Monk 50
Done correctly and to the book, how can you relieve the pressure.Or does the VR6 fuel system only pressurize when the IGN is turned? When I did the first rebuild on this engine, I removed the fuel lines from the fuel rail and there was no pressure at all. craggsy 91
Id say it pressurises when ignition is on, when pump primes. As ive had mine off a few times doing charger and just fuel in pipes comes out
cabrioman 6
^^^^^^ wot he said but if u turn the ing off u mite get covered in fuel as the pressure stays there for a while ...
The Monk 50
Well I leave mine for a good 2 or 3 hrs before doing fuel system work.Does the VR have a valve for testing fuel pressure on or near the fuel rail?
craggsy 91
Yes that nipple on left hand end of fuel rail is for checking fuel pressure
