There is pleanty of guides on you tube to painting fella. Get some high grit wet and dry 2500-3000 quite hard to get. Key it to get a required smooth surface and then give it a wipe with some pre-paint. Then give it a good prime, let that dry.... :-d make a brew then get some water in a spray bottle spray it and rub lightly with your wet and dry paper until you get a very smooth surface.
