twoscoops 0
did you just call into the shop and buy over the counter? Also did I read somewhere that premium members get a discount? cheers
anna 0
i got my mate to order them not sure how hi did it but i think you can just phone them up. I know they deliver to garages not sure if they would deliver to a house though. Do you haev any mates that work in garages maybe they could order bits for you
craggsy 91
Really depends on your local TPS. Some will only deal with the trade as thats what its aimed at. I can wander into mine and get sorted no problems, spent a fortune with em at the moment getting bits and peices to replace my head
VR6_Absy 0
Ours in Plymouth won't entertain anybody thats not in the motoring trade :-(
anna 0
i guess its some and some then just be nice and go in there see what they say
craggsy 91
It looks that way. Both Leicester and Derby are fine with it. Fella in Leicester knows what car I have now, and I always get discount now.

twoscoops 0
unfortunately I just gave them a ring and they said that they are trade only. said I had to go to the local Western Volkswagon to get parts.I take it that GSF is the next best alternative? cheers

Saunders82 0
i work at the tps in milton keynes we have 2 guys decicated to front counter sales because we get so much! Theres no offical ruleing on weather to sell to the public or not but tps is aimed at the trade as someone has previously posted. Our attitude was why turn money away. we looked at the figures its was £45k over the front counter alone when the average independant was 1500-3000. Most regulars get some discount from us. Plus most main dealers are pretty poor.
twoscoops 0
Saunders thanks for the reply. its a real shame that the Edinburgh branch dont do over the counter because there are no other good motor factors in the area, the nearest gsf is 60miles away and a pain in the backside to get too. the only other option is EuroCarParts. There arent any special ways that I can persuad them to sell to me are there? cheers tim
