VR6 Safe Lowering Measurement

Got as per spec in signature. Anyone know the lowest I can go without me having to mess about with the wheel on and off testing?

Hi mate, I ran the same wheels on mine and it was lowered 50 front 45 rear on the exact same wheel tyre combo if you want the centre of axle to arch top I can get it for you but the sump is mega close to the ground and I took my steels of and put the 15s back on to get more clearance

The measurements mean nothing... look at how low it is now, visualise how much lower you want it and wind the coilies down! With those wheels and tyres you should have plenty of arch clearance just the sump will probably rub before the wheels do

you should be able to get 80mm out the rear and prob about 60-65 out the front before the sump catches. i went 80 front 100 rear. basically on the bump stops. but brought it up 20mm all round for safety

Sorry to jack the thread but how are uou finding the Hottuning coils? I was about to order some but would like to hear some reviews from VR owners.

Ok I wound them all down to the lowest they can go (around 1cm from max) as the adjuster catches on metal brake hose clip that clams to the shock. The sump is only 1" off the floor so I am thinking wind them up to give 4"- 5" sump clearance for safety?
