My VR has this strange problem which very rarely springs up but when it does it very annoying.

When cold and i start the car it will not idle you need to have your foot on the throttle to avoid the car stalling, once you do say a mile and push the clutch in to let it free-wheel you can see the car is only idling around 5to600rpm where when running normally its around 900rpm, it does not stall it just runs really low revs. Once its at full temp it seems fine, now i would have thought its a faulty sensor but if you disconnect the battery negative for a few minutes and then re-connect the car runs fine.

Any ideas??

Its not really a problem its just annoying not knowing what it is.

Cheers
