gavinvr6 0 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 guys ive recently started using turtle wax extreme nano-tech stuff and found the finish on a smooth dash to be nothing less than smooth as silk and mirror finish. i like the mirror finish if it is a little annoying in the sun loli just wondered what u guys think of it coz i wanna give the car a damn good treat and wanna get it right. i know some of u are propper anal (for want of a better word) when it comes to detailing ur motors and any advice would be greatly appreciated. SankysVR6 1 Posted April 21, 2009 Report Share Posted April 21, 2009 I like to use merguiars APC diluted 10:1 to clean the plastics and then dress with 1Z cockpit premium. Leaves a very matt finish no gloss at all for me.You can use the APC to clean the headling as well just divide it into 4's spray the APC on the roof lightly and then wipe with clean damp micro fibre cloth.Rinse the cloth in a bucket of clean water, wring out as much as you can and wipe again. Then move on to the next section.You can do the same for cloth seats and carpets. Link to post Share on other sites
