crackers 0
Hi folks,Sorry to be a bit vague here, but on a recent trip through France i lost power at 180km/hour in the outside lane. The Luxembourg assistance took my car to a French VW dealer who had the car two weeks, said it would cost €1400 for a new EMS and then came back yesterday saying they no longer make the part and cant help! The car is a 1992 vr6 with a replacement 2.9 engine from a Jetta Synchro so I believe.Any clues as to how I can fix this, get the right chip/EMS and so on?Many thanks in advanceYour English Dude in Luxembourg.Phil

crackers 0
Hi guys,My French held up well! I have the part number that the VW dealer says it needs - two items actually.021 906 258A021 997 258GOV (Not sure this number is 100% correct)Can anyone help me identify what these parts are, where I can get them from, approx how much and can a non-genuine, possibly enhanced replacement be bought instead if these are standard EMS parts for the VR6?thanks guys - beers on me when you pass Luxembourg later this year for help!RegardsPC
