binliner 0
When you order mk3 suspension it always asks what year it is... whats the difference between early and late cars?Is it that early and late shocks and springs cant be interchanged or if you have a complete shock & spring from an early car will it not fit a late one?? UnitedMotorsport 55
The top spring mounting plates are different, because the springs are different. One set is pigtailed the others arent. The split is 1995 i think.
binliner 0
so a complete set of shocks and springs from an early car will fit a late car and vice versa but you cant mix and match springs and shocks between the 2?
UnitedMotorsport 55
You need to use the correct top spring platforms for the springs you have.So if you want to fit early springs to a late car, you need to also use the early top spring platforms.Going on from that, If you remove the complete suspension struts from an early car, they will bolt right up to the later car.
