The Monk 50 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 I've installed rear coilovers no problem. However, front have domed tops that are made of either steel or aluminium. Do the gold tops and rubber bump stops that secure the original coilovers to the chassis need to be put onto the coilovers? Link to post Share on other sites
Ben Seabrook 4 Posted February 18, 2009 Report Share Posted February 18, 2009 The top mounts (rubber bits) and the bearings from the old coilovers need to go back onto the new ones - although check the condition of them before using them again as they are cheap to buy new and will bugger the ride up if they are knackered. The metal tops I presume are the top cups and yes they obviously go back on as well - there is a guide in the knowledge vault section as well matey Link to post Share on other sites
