supadupagt4 0
are there any different parts, or things i should do when doing this to an OBD2??Parts RequiredThe timing chain replacement kit, available from VW Parts Counters, GSF, ECP etc. consists of the following parts:- Upper chain - Lower chain - Upper chain guide - Lower chain guide - Upper chain tensioner rail - Upper chain tensioner bolt - Lower chain tensioner assembly Photo of a timing chain replacement kit for an OBD1 engine:This guide also covers replacement of the crankshaft end oil seal, since it makes sense to replace this as well while the Gearbox, clutch and flywheel are removed. The part number for this is 068 198 171.
ingham 5
i would always fit later set up even on older engines as long as you fit the later bolt as well
